You guys have actually been in a series

and set of practices about community.

The teaching side of things for that series is now over,

but they wanted me to tell you there is one more practice

for your communities in the coming weeks.

Today, tonight, rather, we're back in the gospel of Matthew,

which means I'm afraid it's me again.

If we haven't met yet, like they were saying,

there's Josh, I used to work here,

I planted a church called Vancity, it's still there.

Now, I reappear here once in a while

to its beginning to same teach divisive topics

and weird parts of the Bible.

So, in fact, when John Mark invited me this time

around the exchange unfolded thusly.

how far into chapter 14 do you want to teach?

I was like, oh, I'll do one through 12.

It's the beheading story.
