Howdy, I'm Jeff Goldsmith, and this is the Q&A. My agenda is simple. Each week I plan to bring you

in-depth insight into the creative process of storytelling. And folks, this is a really fun one today.

We have with us Severance actor Deichen Lachman, aka Gemma. And aside from just loving the show, it was really

fun to interview Deachan because we've known each other for many years and she has such a

profound interest in storytelling. She used to come to all my Q&As, stay for the Q&As, then was

listening in the podcast and I can't say enough good things about her, but I'm going to

over the course of this podcast. So prepare yourselves. I love Severance, and if you think about it,

her role is really complicated because while everyone else is playing two different versions of

themselves, Dichita is playing many versions of herself, including a version of herself occasionally

in someone else's flashback. So there are a lot of

layers to her performance. It is, of course, Emmy eligible, and Deichen was very forthcoming about her
