I'm always so honored to get to spend this time with you.

In fact, I look forward to bringing you conversations every single day that hopefully

inspire you in your faith walk, that deepen your

understanding of God's word, and that heightens your awareness of his very real presence in your life.

Many years ago, I was walking through a really tough time, and I heard a speaker say this.

She said, I've walked with God long enough to know that he's always good.

So now when I walk through painful or prolonged

trials, I dare to ask myself, what in me needed this to happen? What in me needed this to happen?

That question stopped me in my tracks. And I got to say, I know this, and I pray it goes without

saying that, you know, it's not that we deserve all the suffering that we

endure. You know, sometimes pain is our fault, but many times it's not. But does God care? Yes.

Did he allow it? Yes. Does he have a plan? I believe with all my heart, yes, that what he allows,

he redeems. And I actually would say, I believe that we can find

something redemptive in every single thing that we walk through. Endings are often new beginnings,

setbacks are often set-ups for the next place that God wants to take us. I'm excited about today's
