All right, so let's turn over to Deuteronomy chapter 2, verse 24.

For those of you that weren't here, I started teaching from Deuteronomy to 24,

and this is Moses just a day or so before he died, rehearsing everything that God

had done, reminding them of what the Lord had commissioned him to do, and telling them how to

enter in and possess the land. And he said in Deuteronomy, chapter 2, verse 24, he says,

rise ye up, take your journey journey and pass over the river arnon

behold i have given into thine hand saan the amurite king of hesbun and his land begin to possess it

and contend with him in battle.

And just a few weeks ago, I was reading this, and boy, God just showed me that just so much of what the Christian life is all about is involved in this one instruction, in this one verse.

And so I've been teaching on seven things or seven steps to victory. And the very first thing

we talked about was rise up. I did that on Thursday night. Most of us are complacent. Most of us have

been lulled to sleep. We were raised in the wilderness and it's time to get out of the wilderness and go

into the promised land. We have to stir ourselves up.

The second thing we talked about is you have to take your journey.

God has a specific plan for every single life.

There's not a one of you that's a mistake.

Whether your parents knew you were coming or not, God knew you were coming.

You know, I was teaching recently on television about abortion and showing scriptural things, and we were discussing things.

And I was making the point that there's less than 1% of all abortions that are performed
