Well, when do you feel most like singing?

It sure is easy to sing when we're happy and our circumstances are good, but how often

do we sing in times of difficulty or sadness? Nancy began a series yesterday called Singing the Lord

Song in a foreign land. And today we're going to hear about the power of singing even when we don't feel like it.

Let's listen as Nancy continues walking us through Psalm 137.

I've been reading a fascinating book recently by my friend Dave Butts, who heads up

a prayer ministry, harvest prayer ministries.

The book is called With One Cry. The subtitle is a renewed challenge

to pray for America. And Dave talks in that book about growing up in Indiana and going to high school

basketball games. I don't know if it's anything like this here in Atlanta, but we live in Michigan,

very near the Indiana border, and they are basketball crazy.

They're high school basketball crazy.

And he talks about the advantage of being the home team.

Let me read a portion out of this book.

Dave says, home teams have the fans and the noise.
