Hello friend, I'm Marcy Farrell from Thankful Homemaker and I'm so glad to be with you today.

We finished up our series in the sermon on the mount

and that was three years.

So right now, I feel a little bit in limbo

as where to move next.

Plus it's the end of the year.

We have the holiday season coming up.

So I keep coming back to some areas in scripture

that I have been camping in. John 13 is one, and that may be a future episode,

but I've also been reading and re-reading Colossians 3

quite a bit these last few weeks.

So today I'm going to share some thoughts on

Colossians 3 verses 1 through 4 on setting our minds on things above and I'll give a

brief introduction on the book of Colossians, and we're also going to discuss one of the major themes of the book, the preeminence of Christ.
