Today's guest is Seth Godin.

Seth Godin is basically an internet legend whose story is the

story of the internet. He's been around since before Google exploded. He set up a

couple of startups himself selling one of them to Yahoo.

And he's been a constant reminder that we just need to be more inventive

rather than just working harder on our jobs.

He started his career packaging books, which is so fascinating that we chat a little bit about it. I was interested

whether book design and book packaging might be a good route to sort of get our creative

juices flowing. He then wrote to his own fame writing a book about

permission marketing so if you've ever received email from a company he invented that

so you've got him to thank he's become a legend of the internet. He blogs every day.

He's got over a million people reading his daily posts. And he's a guru in

marketing who's written 18 books. The chat is brilliant. It goes everywhere.
