A. The best, most important book that anyone will ever read is the book they write.

A. Laughing.

A. The canoe paddle I hand-carved for my wife in 1979.
Q. You are sitting on a bench overlooking a gorgeous beach. You have the opportunity to have a long conversation with anyone living or dead. Who would it be?
A. My mom and talk about how much I miss her.
Q. What is the best advice you’ve ever received?
A. Any advice I can give you won't help. My advice would be, "Stop asking for advice."
Q. What advice would you give your 20-year-old self?
A. I've had lots of professional pitfalls and I wouldn't trade any of them because if I would have skipped any of them, I wouldn't be me. So I'd say, "It's going to be okay."

A. He made a ruckus.
