It's always so cool to have this time together, but we get to just chat. Well, not really chat, but you get to hear, you know, what the Lord has this place in my heart. And I'm just so grateful that you really come here every week and just listen to these episodes. They're so encouraging to me. And I just really hope that you're growing in the

Lord. And as always, I always say, like, I don't know at all. I'm just growing in Christ, just as you

are. And I'm just using the gift that God had given me. And I'm just operating in obedience and

faith to the conviction that he has placed in my heart. But today, we're going to be

disgusting. I love what we're going to be talking about today because all glory to God, like,

God has done so many wonderful things in my life. He has restored so many broken things in my life.

He literally has made something so beautiful out of me that was so broken and lost and confused when I was in the world.

And I know he's done the same for you and he's continuing to do the same for you today.

So this episode is going to be a blessing not only to you, but it's going to be a blessing to me as well because I get to reflect on the faithfulness of God.

He's been so faithful to all of us

and all glory to him, right? He is so worthy to be raised. So today we're going to be discussing

about being set apart to glory only in the Lord. So we are set apart to glory only in the Lord,

not glory in our own abilities or bolus in all the things that we can do or in our strength or just on the status quo of our lives or how much we've achieved in this life.

The Bible tells us that, you know, God uses the weak and lowly things of this world to shame the wise, to shame the people that think

that they know it all, that they're wise in this world, but really aren't. And that's what we're

going to be talking about. I'm going to share the scripture so you get to hear what the word of

God has to say. All right. Ready? So 1 Corinthians chapter 1, verse 26 through 31 and it says brothers and sisters think of what

you were when you were called not many of you were wise by human standards not many were influential

not many were of noble birth but god chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise

god chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong god chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise. God chose the weak things of the world

to shame the strong. God chose the lowly things of this world and the despise things and the things that

are not to nullify the things that are so that no one may boast before him. It is because of him that you
