Welcome back to another episode of the Setap Our Daughters podcast where you will be empowered, encouraged, and equipped to become the woman that God has created you to be.

I'm your host, Denise Copeland. I'm so happy that you're joining me on this week's episode where,

hopefully Lord willing, by the time you listen to this episode, I will be in Puerto Rico with my family, visiting family.

And just wanted to ask, would you mind praying for our family as we travel to Puerto Rico

and spend a few days over there that God will use us for his glory, that he will protect us

and guide us to the people that he wants us to pray, encourage, and minister to with the gospel?

I know I have a lot of history in Puerto Rico. I grew up. I was

born and raised in Puerto Rico. I have a lot of good memories and not so good memories, but it all

led me to where I am today. And I am grateful for that. I'm thankful for the experiences, the lessons,

and the journey that has brought me to where I am now, where I know who I am in Christ,

and I have been chosen and set apart for God's kingdom and glory.

And yeah, so just speaking about that, I wanted to talk today about just being near to God, you know, like the nearness of God. I was just sitting here and just

being so thankful and grateful for being so close to God. I just feel his presence and I love being

close to God. It's a beautiful thing when you're really near to God and, you know, your experience

as peace, right, that surpasses all understanding, a peace that you cannot comprehend.

A peace that doesn't have to do with things that are happening around me.

But a piece that is inward, right, that only the Holy Spirit can produce in me.

And not also peace, but also joy and rest.

Like there's so much rest when you are near to God because you're literally abiding in him and you're giving everything, you know, you're laying everything at his feet.

And I wanted to invite you to that today's sister that you would draw near to God, right?
