Hello, hello, my beautiful ladies.

Welcome back to the Setapart Daughters podcast, where you will be empowered and encouraged and equipped to become the woman that God has created you to be.

I'm your host, Denise Copeland, and I am so excited that you're joining me this week's episode about being set apart in the trial.

So maybe you've had a bad day,

a bad week, or a bad year, right? This year has been full of ups and downs. And for many of us, it's been very challenging. It's been a season of pruning and a time where it has forced us to

either draw closer to God or the pain and the suffering

draws away from God. And my hope for you, ladies, is to always draw closer to God because trials

and tribulations, they're meant to bring us closer to the Father's heart. Now, while it might seem

impossible to maintain a joyful attitude in all

circumstances, the Bible clearly commands us to rejoice in all things. Now, that might be easier said

than done because I too struggle with counting all things joy and rejoicing in all things when I'm

facing trials. Right now, even in our family,

you know, my husband has like very bad back pain. He has a herniated disc and it has caused

them to be basically bed bound. He can't get up. He can't move around. He can't walk for a long

time. And so he's like in a lot of pain, losing sleep. And my youngest son had a fever

for a few days with no symptoms. And you know, when your baby has a fever and it's sick, he gets

cranky. The baby gets cranky, very needy. And then I have a toddler on the other hand where I have to,

you know, take care of his needs to.
