How has your week been?

I know many of us have been in a season and a week

of prayer and fasting and that's exactly what we're going to be talking about today as a matter of fact

we're going to be talking about set apart in fasting now i'm praying that as you listen to this episode that, you know,

the Holy Spirit will continue to strengthen you and show you what the will of God is for you in

this life, that you're breaking yokes, that you're breaking things that were, you know,

bound in you and that you're receiving clarity for what's ahead and in the future.

Now, for those who don't know what fasting means, fasting is a spiritual practice that takes place in a

believer's life, you know, when they follow Jesus.

And this has been taking place in the Old Testament and in the New Testament.

We see, you know, people fasting for many different reasons.

Fasting can take place to prepare for ministry.

We see that in Jesus' life when he went out in the wilderness and he fasted for 40 days and 40 nights.
