I'm your host Denise Copeland and I'm delighted that you decided to join me on this

week's episode where we will be discussing being set apart from anxiety.

Now, anxiety is something that we've all experienced before.

And living in a world where there's constant chaos, constant things to worry about and so many things happening around us, it can be very tempting and easy to be anxious about many things, many, many things.

But the scripture reminds us otherwise. The scripture encourage us to do otherwise? You know,

the Bible didn't tell us that we were exempt from these anxieties, right? Because we live in

the world, but we're not of it, right? We can't, like, we came to the Lord, but we didn't,

we weren't taking out of it. Like, we're still here. So there are going to be moments and times and seasons in our lives where we will experience

the anxieties of this world and the worries of the world and the cares of the world.

But the Bible encourages us to not be anxious about anything, but in all things by prayer supplication with thanksgiving submit

our request to god right and the god of peace will be with you so we are encouraged to surrender

our anxieties to jesus to get them to him because he knows what to do with them he cares for us

he gives us rest for our souls. He is the one

who gives us the peace of mind and the peace of our hearts, right? He gives us a peace that transcends

all understanding that guards our hearts and our minds in Christ Jesus. So I know personally

for me, if I am feeling anxious, it is probably because

I'm not trusting God with that certain situation or a certain news that I received, right? When I'm

anxious most of the times is because I'm not trusting God with my life and not trusting God with

whatever it is that I'm facing.

And for example, this could be receiving a medical diagnosis, right?
