Thank you for joining me on this week's episode, where we will be discussing being set apart as a home watcher.

So whether you're married or not, God has called each and one of us to be home watchers,

to watch over the needs and necessities of her house and to steward our

house really well. Proverbs 31 verse 27 says she watches over the ways of her household and does not

eat the bread of idleness. So we see here that one of the great qualities of a virtuous woman of

the Proverbs 31 women is that one of the great qualities of a virtuous woman, of the Proverick 31 women,

is that she watches the ways of her household. So she is busy. She's feeling the needs that

are around her. And she does not eat the bread of idleness. She's not just sitting on the couch

and just letting, you know, the house just run crazy, but she's actually

engaged within her home. And as I read the scripture, you know, I was wondering like,

what does it mean when it says she watches over the ways of her household, like watches that

word watching? And so I did a little research and, you know, the meaning of watching means to hedge

about as with thorned to bunch like a mother bird or an animal might do to protect her young.

So the verb here expresses that the active guarding, protecting, saving, and attending to something precious.

So this kind of watching involves observation and preservation. A woman who watches over the ways of her household

is a woman who watches over her precious home. If you're a woman that's married and has children

running around the house, it may feel like, you know, everything is like crumbling and, you know,

the kids are running crazy, toys are everywhere, you're backed up on laundry and it's just so easy to just look at all

those pile of things to do and just sit on the couch and just binge on your phone or on
