I got a text from Mikey upset about the Giants and Cowboys on Sunday night to open up the NFL.

We'll close the first weekend of the NFL season.

And Sal is also upset about this.

Let's start with Mikey A.

Sal, I understand.

Mikey A, why is this upset you so much? Who cares? I mean, you know what it is? It's the NFL is always trying to shove giants, cowboys, down our throats. Right. And the fact that they take the Sunday night game of week one, just think about how excited, how much anticipation there's going to be for that first

Sunday of the NFL. And then you're going to get a couple of teams that are okay playing on Sunday. Like, come on, give me a prime time matchup. Right. Well, you're getting America's team. You're getting market number one in the Giants. So I'm told. And that's what Sunday night is thinking. and you're getting John Harbaugh's first game as the Giants head coach.

I think, you know, I think plenty of of people, they're going to be into that. They'll be jacked up for that, I think. Don't you? No, give me two teams that I care about. Give me two teams that I think could, could actually be there in in January and February. Don't give me two teams that you tell me every year are going to be there because they're not. But I think we have no idea who's going to be there January and February. If I told you Seattle was going to be there in January and February before the season started, you're going to let me out of the room. Right. But if I told you you're going to have Ram Seahawks,

I can't play the Seahawks because they're playing obviously earlier. But if I told you you're going to have, you know, Ravens and Steelers, I don't even want the Steelers. Now I'm tired of that. I'm just talking to myself. Ravens Chiefs. Give me Ravens Chiefs. Right. To Mike Yeh's point, let me try to help Mike Yeh out here.

Last year, the first Sunday night football game was Bill's Ravens. And if you think about it, that might have been the game of the year. Yeah. And it was kind of all downhill from there. Yes. Well, we thought in the first half, the Ravens were the team to beat.

They were going to the Super Bowl.

And then we thought after the game that the Ravens were done and the bills were the team to beat. And they were going to the Super Bowl. Neither of them made it to the Super Bowl. I mean, I think you get, I'm not upset about it, Stu, not as much as Mike, certainly. but I think what it is saying is early on,

the Giants are going to be a primetime team this year.

Because if that's the first Sunday night game, much as Mike, certainly. But I think what it is saying is early on, the Giants are going to be a

prime time team this year. Because that's the first Sunday night game where it's not, to your

point, if you compare it to last year's two national powerhouses that people expect to compete

legitimately for the Super Bowl going at it on Sunday night football, that's what the week one

Sunday night football matchup should be. This is a big market giants, big market cowboys, whatever, going against each other.

But I think it's more telling about the Harball-led Giants with Jackson Dart being in the NFL's

mind more of a prime time show, which I'm excited about. I just don't know if I would have that
