I am jealous that you somehow avoided.

Mikey A. and I both jealous. We looked at each other as you were telling the story right before we started here about how you didn't become a New York Jets fan. Please share that story with us. Well, you know, Sturgh, God's first things first. It's a pleasure to be on the show. Love what you guys do. I wouldn't be so jealous, though. I wouldn't be so jealous.

So I'm a little kid growing up in the 90s. My dad is a casual sports fan. He's in the sports,

but he's not like the same level of lunatic that you might be, that I might be, that your guys might be.

And he brought me to a jet game. I want to say it was like the mid-90s.

This is like the boomer Osyacin, rich coat tight New York Jets. I was just like, nah, this does

not look, sound, feel like something I want to be involved in. And like the dolphins had the

cool starter jackets, then Marino, Ace Ventura, bed-ass uniforms. Like, if I decided to be like a Steeler fan or a Packer fan or like a Bronco fan, like the other teams that were really good in the 90s, I could feel that jealousy. Dolphins ever won a playoff game, man. Like 25 years. It sucks. Yeah, but you had Marino, so, I mean. Great, except he didn't win a Super Bowl. Not his fault. He didn't win a Super Bowl. Wonderful. JJ, you're dead. He might be the first person I've ever heard described of as a casual Jets fan. I don't think of casual when I think of the Jets. Yeah, he's, he's a rare breed.

Like, my dad does not really fit the model of being a Jep fan.

Like, my dad's in, he, he's very studious.

Like, you would think everything about his personality would not lead him to being a Jeff

fan, but he was a child of the 1960s.

And if you were a child in the 1960s, and Joe Willie Nymniff's wearing the fur coats and his guaranteeing victory, kind of pot committed. So there's that. Can you be casually miserable? Like, is that a thing? Like, I think it's all mindset, right? It's all mindset. Like if you... I wish I was casual.

Yes.

But like, let's put it this way, though, Stigatz. You're a man who have a multi-interest, right? Like, the Jets make you miserable, and then you think about your kids. You go to the golf course or your work. Like, you can escape it. I mean, and the good news with the Jets, at least over the last decade,

they have been so embarrassing and so, for the most part, out of it in all of these years that like come November, I mean, do you really give a shit? Like they're two and eight. They're two and nine. Like the Rogers year when he blew out as Achilles. That's peak misery.
