Greetings and welcome back to another episode of Halloween's, a horror franchise podcast,

presented by Bloody FM.

I'm your host Michael Myers Rothman, and today I'm introducing a little bit of an oldie,

if you will.

And if oldie, I mean, two years, you know,

because we recorded this in March of 2024.

And what did we record?

Well, we recorded an episode on Session 9,

the 2001 psychological thriller by Brad Anderson,

one of my favorite horror films of the 21st century.

If not, it's probably in the top three.

I need to go look and check my letterbox from last December because I made a list for it.

Anyway, a big fan of this film, big fan of the subtle scares and certainly of the psychological aspects of it,

which will linger with you for many, many years to come.

Hey, it stuck with me for 25 years. It's the 25th anniversary. So, you know, that's a long time.

For half a quarter of a century, have a movie scare you that long. And that's, that's a mark of

the film itself. So you can tell already that we're going to be very glowing, very positive about this film. This isn't going to be negative nancy's over here. And that means a lot because, look, I am a negative nancy. I'll admit it. You know, I sit there and I try to find all the errors and things. And maybe it's just because of my upbringing and maybe it's just because I'm an asshole. But either way, I know it gets under some people's skin. Well, I don't think I'll get under your skin too much on this episode because this one I really did love. I don't even know why I'm saying all this. Just listen to this episode.
