about something that we don't talk about nearly enough, eating disorders.

And yes, black women and girls do struggle with eating disorders as well.

So I am joined by Dr. Judy Lee Webb.

Dr. Webb is a licensed psychologist in the Atlanta area and the co-owner and co-director

of New Directions Counseling Center, a group practice with 13 clinicians.

She conducts individual couples and family therapy with adolescents and adults and specializes

in treating depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, eating disorders, body image, weight management

and obesity issues, relationship issues, divorce issues, parent-child interactions, adolescent

issues, sexual identity, self-esteem issues, and trauma.

As a Jamaican who has lived in America for many years, she is also sensitive to minority,

diversity and cultural issues.

Dr. Webb is also the founding president of IADP Atlanta chapter and was the first psychologist

in Georgia to become a certified eating disorder specialist.
