If you do have a Bible with you, I ask that you would open to Ephesians chapter 3.

I'm going to be reading for us starting from verse 14.

And as is our tradition, I want to ask that you would stand please for the reading of the word of God.

Ephesians chapter 3, beginning in verse 14.

Oh Lord, before we read your word, I want to ask that you would plant it our hearts tonight. I want to ask that regardless of if this is the first time someone has heard this passage

or if they've heard it a thousand times before, your word is living inactive, it is sharper than a double-edged sword, and so would it cut

us open and do surgery on us that it might heal us tonight?

We invite you, Lord Jesus, the living word, to come and speak, and we pray that you, not any

other name, but you would be made much of tonight.

For this reason, I kneel before the father from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name.

I pray that out of his glorious riches

he may strengthen you with power

through his spirit in your inner being

so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. your power, together with all the Lord's holy people to grasp how wide and long and high and

deep is the love of Christ. And to know this love that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled to the measure of all the

fullness of God. Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than we ask or imagine

according to his power that is at work within us.

To him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations forever and ever.

Amen. This is the word of the Lord. and ever, amen.
