They said, if you don't get out, by the end of today, we're going to firebomb your houses.

And so she called me and she said, we need to evacuate an entire street of Roma people.

And they have nowhere else to take them. Can they come to the church?

We then had national news. We then had international news.

A week later, just as everything was calming down, I went down, somebody had attacked the church and smashed the windows in the front door.

trish thank you simon thanks for the invite yeah so good to have you so trish and Malk lead the church that I am part of, which is St Andrew's Fox Hill. Trish, I mean, where shall I start? I mean, she, well, her mum, funny enough, I didn't know her dad, she's got a fantastic set of parents, but her mum was one of those ladies who's an absolute prayer warrior and I didn't know her well,

but whenever she saw me, she would say, and this is going about years, she'd say, I pray

for you every day and that meant so much to me because, I mean, I've said it before,

but I literally believe that I'm only alive because of people's prayers having lived in the

most dangerous country in the world and faced all sorts of crazy stuff. So very grateful for Jean. She died a couple of years ago, graduated to glory. Yes, she did. And so, Trish, I mean, so it says you'd be best known for being part of the band Heartbeat that got into the top of the pops, into the charts. So you worked with the Youth for Christ, you've travelled all over the place, doing lots of crazy stuff. Enough from me, let's go right back to your childhood. So I've alluded to that and saying you've got a great set of parents. It was a really precious upbringing, wasn't it? Yeah, it was. And you know, the further you go on in life, you realize not everybody had that kind of start in life.

My mom and dad had a loving marriage, which was wonderful.

I was one of four children.

My dad was a Baptist minister when I was born, so we didn't have a lot of money.

We were living in Mansus at the time.

My mum had done some nursing training, so she did nursing in between having us kids. She

had us quite close together. But great upbringing. Yeah, I had a great sort of start in life

when it came to understanding who Jesus was and hearing the voice of God, you know. Yeah. So was it
