Hi there everyone, it's 4 o'clock in the east.

If and when, special counsel Jack Smith sets about serving justice to Donald Trump and

those closest to him for their roles in the deadly attack at the U.S. Capitol, Hill almost

certainly do so equipped with one very particular, very essential set of facts.

Facts that answer a fundamental question.

Did Trump and his people know that their BS was just that?

Did they know their lies were lies?

Now to prove that in court that yes indeed they did, prosecutors will draw from a number

of sources.

But we understand this afternoon, there's one avenue now in particular focus for them.

Washington Post reports this, a specific exchange of text messages is now being scrutinized

by federal prosecutors.

It is believed to be between then chief of staff Mark Meadows and White House lawyer Eric

Hirschman.

Remember him?

In the process of poo pooing the false claim made by Rudy Giuliani and others that 10,000

dead people voted in Georgia, Meadows mentions his son in Atlanta area attorney was looking

into it.

He writes this, quote, my son found 12 obituaries and six other possibilities depending on the

voter role accuracy.

Eric Hirschman then responds, quote, that sounds more like it.

Maybe he can help Rudy find the other 10,000.
