I always love to be able to address the dimensions of charity outside of a fundraiser

0:16.0

where we actually get to speak about the scope and we get to speak about the deep theological meetings behind this command to serve Allah Subhano Ita.

0:25.0

Now I'm going to start off by saying this one question that I get asked and I can't really tell if you guys are nodding your heads or not when I say this but one question I get

0:33.6

asked sometimes is when I give charity how do I give charity for the sake of Allah meaning

0:39.2

you know what if I'm just being a good person what if it's just me doing something out of the goodness of my heart?

0:44.9

Is that not for the sake of Allah? What does it exactly mean? And many people don't really know

1:45.0

Allah, not desiring any sort of gratitude and not desiring any sort of compensation,

1:50.6

not now or in the future. This one Aya or even the first fragment of the Aya answers

1:56.8

three essential questions of charity. Why you give charity? How you give charity and

2:02.1

who you give that charity too.

2:04.3

Within just a few words, Allah Subhano et al-Teta encapsulates all of these powerful meanings

2:10.4

that truly, if we pay attention to would completely reinvent the manner in which we serve even if we are already in the service of mankind.

2:19.5

And I want to start off with that question.
