0:38.3	So Mike used to work for ThoughtWorks and he's gone to do great things in the world.
0:45.3	And today we're going to be talking about serverless.
0:48.3	Mike wrote a seminal article on the Martin Fowler.com website eight years ago now, I think. That's about
0:58.0	seven, seven, give or take. All right. Mike wrote, I'm going to call it the canonical book on
1:04.5	serverless, which is programming AWS Lambda. It's Java-based focus, but I think that's a pretty comprehensive
1:13.4	book. And since then, he's also started a serverless-focused consulting firm and does a lot
1:20.8	of consulting for clients using AWS. Is that fair description of who you are and what you're up to, Mike?
1:29.3	Yeah, pretty much. The consulting thing's been going on for about seven years now.
1:35.7	So, yeah, it's sort of been part and part of that. It's been an interesting history with
1:40.4	what we've been working on there. And so today's podcast, we wanted to talk about the state of serverless.
