Richard Wurmbrand:

Once again, we are going to turn to the late Richard Wurmbrand to speak to us on behalf of those of the persecuted church who are currently, actively, being imprisoned and tortured for Christ.

For those who don't know who Richard Wurmband is, here's a brief intro:

Lutheran minister in Romania. 14 years in prison, including 3 in solitary confinement.
After “escaping” abroad, published ”Tortured for Christ" in the 1960s and testified to Congress.
Helped start Voice of the Martyrs (but his son Michael doesn’t trust VOM).

0:56.5	place within China. People outside of China have never heard of it, probably. It's about two hours
1:00.7	south of the capital of Sichuan, Chengdu, which is where Pastor Wang Yi is being held
1:06.9	currently there in prison. So again, that's just another reminder to pray for China,
1:11.3	to pray for Lashan, to pray for Sichuan, and to pray for Pastor Wang Yi. I'm sure he has been
1:17.0	to Lashan. Most people in that region have been there. It's beautiful. There's some tourist sites to
1:21.0	see. It's a place to get out of the bustle of the big cities and get up into the mountains there
1:25.2	a little bit there in central Sichuan province.
1:28.9	One more thing about the Pray for China thing. Again, we've matched up every state in America
1:34.0	with a specific Chinese province to adopt for prayer. And so, Sichuan province in China,
1:41.2	big, massive province in west central China is matched up with the state of Texas for prayer.
