So why don't you just grab a hand, we're going to pray if you need to date, squeeze a hand right

there. Holy Spirit, thank you for what you're doing here today. We just pray, Lord, that you

would break out today, that you would break out, that people would break out of their boxes,

they break out of their self-confirmance, Lord. We take people out of solitary confinement,

like even people that are flocked, that are on streaming here, Lord, we just pray that you

would just awaken them to new possibilities and that, Lord, that literally, that we pray for

the earth to tremble at the sound of your people and the sound of your voice, in Jesus' name, Amen.

So I want to talk about faith and the role that faith plays in our walk with God.

You know, our walk is called a faith walk, you know, we're supposed to be of the faith,

not of the feeling and not of the facts of faith. And so, you know, the question becomes,

the simple question is what is faith? And Hebrews 111 says, now faith is the assurance of

things hope for, the conviction of things not seen. And now faith is the assurance of things hope for

and the conviction of things not seen. I want to just begin by saying how important hope is, right?

Because faith is the conviction of things hope for. And you know, that verse in Proverbs that says

that hope deferred makes the heart sick. It's not what gets, it's not what I hope for,

that gets deferred that makes me sick. For example, maybe I'm in a financial crisis and I'm hoping

for a check that comes in the mail and the check never comes. It's not that I didn't get the check
