Reviewing Rick Warren's sermon called Connecting to God The Prayer of Surrender.

And as usual there seems to be some serious problems with Rick Warren's theology and his preaching and

we'll be going through that today and so just want to warn you ahead of time.

and this is the program that dishes up a daily dose of biblical discernment.

The basic premise that we work from is that the Bible is God's word,

and it is the truth. If you contradict the Bible, then you are wrong.

Why? Because Jesus Christ is God in human flesh and he said the Bible is God's word and you no one's got better

authority than he does so this program is not seeker sensitive or purpose-driven friendly or anything like that.

Why?

Because we discuss doctrine what the Bible teaches and we compare what people are saying out there to the word of God and nobody is above

criticism including the radio programs host. That would be me. In fact, if I say something that contradicts God's

word, I expect to hear from you guys. I want to let you know I've gotten some several emails from people

who are Calvinists who've given me a biblical defense of limited

atonement and hey guys I want you to let you know I've been reading those emails

one in particular was was actually very fascinating and went into a lot of the Greek

which I appreciated. We're not going to be responding to that today but I just want to

let you guys know that I've been getting those emails and I'm not ignoring them.
