I'm Professor at Grove City College in Western Pennsylvania.

Here, as always, with my good friend, Reverend Todd Pruitt,

pastor of Covenant Presbyterian Church in Harrisonburg, Virginia.

I want to start today, Todd, by mentioning a very distressing tweet that was sent to me just the other day.

My friend, Donald McLeod, referred to me.

The Scottish theologian referred to me as an American theologian in the

Stornaway Gazette. Donald, I don't know if you listen to this program, man, but I'm coming

for you. That is, that was below the belt. You could have, you could have confused me with Todd

Pruitt, and I wouldn't be more offended at this point. I took great pleasure when I saw that.

I thought, this is it.

This is how Carl knows he's arrived.

Carl can officially now, I mean, being referred to by one of the deans of Scottish systematic

theologians of our generation, being referred to by him.

I'm English. Well, you know, I mean, apparently there's a problem in this friendship,

though, for him to call you American. This ex-friend, I should have said,
