The beatitudes are the blessings Jesus listed as we live in accordance to his teaching.

It's a counterintuitive way of living that brings great joy and blessing.

As you listen to Jesus, picture yourself as part of the crowd sitting on the hillside that day.

Do you come up close to the teacher, or do you remain further back in the crowd?

Do you come curious or doubting? What questions might you ask of the rabbi?

After each beatitude, there will be a pause for you to contemplate and respond.

So find a quiet space.
