Summary

In this week’s podcast, I share about the power of the Holy Spirit in our lives to see the gospel spread. Jesus sent His disciples out in power to heal the sick, raise the dead, and cast out demons! I believe especially in this season we need to be moving in signs, wonders, and miracles. I want to encourage you that you were born for this hour!

0:26.5	In Jesus' name, amen. About three weeks ago, I started this series called Finding Your Superpower
0:33.7	and I'd like to do a part two. How many of you are in the room when I preached that?
0:39.2	And where were the rest of you? You guys online, you're covered, but so I just want to say,
0:48.8	I forgive you. We're not coming. But good thing Jesus didn't come back. You know,
0:55.1	you'll be reading those books left behind. Okay. John chapter 20, why don't you turn there?
1:01.6	I'm going to do a little review for the folks who weren't able to be here. John chapter 20 verse 19.
1:08.4	So when it was evening on that day, the first day of the week, when the doors were shut,
1:12.8	where the disciples were for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in their midst and
1:17.5	said to them, peace be with you. I guess you have to say something when you walk through a wall.
1:21.2	After Jesus rose from the dead, he never used a door because he is the door. And when he had said
1:26.6	this, he showed them both his hands and his side and the disciples rejoice when they saw the Lord.
1:31.8	So Jesus said to them, again, peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, I also send you. And when
1:37.6	he had said this, he breathed on them and said, receive the Holy Spirit. You forgive the sins of
1:43.5	any, their sins have been forgiven. If you retain the sins of any, they have been retained. I just
1:49.3	wanted to just start off with this verse. So Jesus just rose from the dead, walks through the wall,
1:56.0	says peace to the disciples, and then he breathes on them and says, receive the Holy Spirit.
