The Okay so it's Saturday the 5th of October man this trip is flying.

I'm just walking into recreation park where I believe the carousel is located.

A lot of people from the fest are meeting there.

I mean you will have heard by now the interviews and so on

from yesterday what a great day what a great day meeting everybody putting faces to names getting to

shake people by the hands who have spoken to for years and the kindness that people have shown me here is just

insane you know gifts from Friends of the show like Andy gave me a um a t-shirt with one of the common

phrases that I use on the podcast all the time on it and then a friend of the show

Roger gave me a like a customized mug and you know the kindness is just insane and

it's a beautiful day here in Binghamton and I'm gonna walk down to the carousel and

meet up with everybody so who knows maybe i'll catch a few words from

people while we're there we're there we are here in recreation park we're next to the carousel, but I'm here with two really long-time friends of the show. how's it going roger great good to be here how's your sailing fest going oh it's wonderful i mean it's

great to to see so many people that you know you connect with online or you listen to and podcast

and you actually get to talk to them face to face yeah and you know picking up some new things that you didn't know about as long as you've been involved and knowing about Twilight Zone and Rod Serling, but there's always more to learn. Yeah, absolutely, absolutely. And yesterday, we had a reading of The Happy Place. Now, I've always tried to get hold of that. You just can't get hold of it. I don't think it's out there online or anything like that. You caught the show

out. I did, yes. How was it? It was great. I was very impressed by it. I knew sort of the general

plot. I think it's written up in like the Twilight Zone Companion and some other places.

So I knew that there was this society where people were euthanized when they hit a certain age.

I also sort of remember the ending.

I think that was revealed somewhere.

But other than that, a lot of it was just new to me.
