Hello, welcome to the hoop collective podcast. We talk about the NBA. It is almost midnight on Tuesday night. We're out of sync and out of order and out of sorts.

And we're not even having as bad of a day as the Brooklyn nets.

I don't think this counts as an emergency pod, but we thought it would be good to talk about it. So good Wednesday to everybody joining me from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York where we had a little interesting action today is Tim Buntems.

Nothing going on here, fellas. Nothing at all. It's only no punishments from anybody. That's for sure.

I just want you to know, Mr. Band McMahon joining us from Dallas watching no Buntems. He is in no mood about this. And I ain't I ain't back at him down.

Well, listen, let's just start this off on a pleasant note and let's congratulate Steve Nash for getting the hell out of that miserable situation and getting out of this season.

Like this is a happy day. Come on, man.

I actually think Steve Nash probably had a pretty good afternoon because Tottenham had a huge comeback victory in the Champions League to advance out of the group stage.

And final seconds goal and stoppage time to get the number one seat out of the group. And I know Nash loved it.

Well, and I don't know if he actually watch the bulls nets where the bulls and karma made a comeback for a win in that game. But if he did, I bet you he enjoyed Kyrie's performance because Kyrie

uh, poop the bed to put it politely. Poop the bed right there on national TV. Would we we're not going to get his explanation of that bad pooping because the nets aren't letting Kyrie talk to the media right now because he can't be trusted to do anything but make a complete ass of himself.

Well, he's certainly there, you know, he's not apologizing either. I'm not even he's not, you know, back he, you know, he did delete the tweet, but let's just we'll get to that in a second.

And then we'll get to that in a second. Bontems, you were at Sean Marx press conference today. Now I'm going to say that in the last 13 months, Sean Marx has had to give a lot of high stress press conferences dating back to when he announced that the way we're not going to, you know, go the home road situation with Kyrie or what if they all had to do it.

So the vast majority have been one guy who is constantly despite being extraordinarily talented. He's constantly on the wrong side of the pain in the ass to production ratio.

And he's producing a lot, which tells you a lot about it. He's producing a lot, except for tonight and it's still not even close.

Right. He had four points tonight was his worst offensive game as a net and he had been red hot. All right. I want to take us, I want to go to the press conference.

Bontems.

You know how much I have talked about how ridiculous I think the nets have been publicly over the last couple of years.

And for the most part, Steve Nash was the guy who had to come out there and slap lipstick on a pig over and over and over.

Steve Nash wasn't there to kick around anymore. So outcomes, Sean Marx, who I have, I'd like to have empathy for because I realize how challenging and how hard this is to face this.

But I just can't quite bring myself to get there because of the way that they have handled themselves as an organization.
