I started to wake a regular basis,

and every time in that moment of waking,

I would see the man standing in the corner.

Many times on Uncanny, we have talked about

that strange no man's land between sleep and waking,

where reality and illusion blend in the dark depths of night.

But what happens when your nightmares enter your reality?

I thought it was an anxiety dream

for the whole time this was happening

until other people started to tell me about the man.

When you realise you are not the only one

seeing these visions that perhaps is not a dream after all.

And at that moment in time, everything became real,

and I was scared absolutely witless.
