If you've been watching our Facebook or Twitter feed,

you're seeing that I'm going to be walking a mile in high-heeled shoes.

And this is all to raise money and awareness for the crisis center of central New Hampshire.

I did this last year.

War of the high-heeled shoes.

It was very uncomfortable.

It was a little dangerous.

But it really opened my eyes because, first of all, I never considered what it took to literally walk in that kind of footwear.

Many guys don't.

And also, I realized that a lot of men don't consider what fears and what peril women go through when they are confronted with the possibility of domestic or sexual violence.

Guys, we very rarely do we consider whether we're going to be coming home to a violent partner or whether we're going to have to make a run in the middle of the night.

And we rarely wonder what are we going to do with our children when we do this.

And you know, even women in healthy relationships that never have to worry about their partner being violent,

they still, these women still on some level have to size up this man on whether or not they're going to be in that situation in the future.
