young offenders so they don't go on to commit more crimes.

In theory, anyway.

But this inevitably brings to mind the timeless question of nature versus nurture.

Is it even possible to redirect a developing mind once it sets down a course of criminality?

Or does engaging in elicited activities fuel a dark desire for more?

In the case of Craig Price, otherwise known as the Warwick Slasher, there was every indication

he was a wolf in sheep's clothing.

His inherent charisma effectively deceived those closest to him.

Little did they know he would go down in history as being Rhode Island's most notorious

serial killer.

At the same time, his case would serve as a major catalyst for widespread reform.

Craig Chandler Price was born on October 11, 1973 in Warwick, Rhode Island.

His father John was the supervisor of a Pepsi plant and nearby Cranston.

Surely Price was a clear-core worker for Kmart.

Together they had three children, Kim, John Jr., and Craig, their youngest.

Much like today, in the 1980s, Warwick was predominantly white.

African-American families like the Price has made up around 1% of the population.
