Before there was Dahmer, before there was even Bundy, another man made the rounds on the serial

killer circuit, one that has all but disappeared from the narrative.

There are no plaques, no memorial gardens for his victims, no movies starring Zach Efron,

shirtless, or otherwise.

And yet this serial killer seeped into our culture.

He's the original boogeyman, the entire basis for parents saying,

watch out for the strange man with a candy in a van.

And today, we're going to be talking about the insanely heinous and despicable crimes

he committed during the early 70s.

It's Dean Coral, or better known as the Candyman of Houston.
