Hello, Serene, we're so happy to chat with you about your experience in this crazy

Bachelor world. So happy to be here. Thank you for having me. Yeah, no, thank you

for taking the time. We always kind of start off with everyone wanting to hear about like how they even got on the show and what that journey was like. So how did you get cast on the show initially?

So I was teaching it was 2021 so I was like halfway or not even halfway into my second year teaching and I just remember being like something

like has to change in my life and there were friends that I had like expressed like

okay like it's really hard dating in 2020 or in

COVID times and I had two different friends that don't even know each other

submit me for the show.

Oh, wow, really?

What are the chances?

My friends, one was my lash lady, you know, girl talk,

like getting my lap was done in 2020

and she's like, no, I put you up for the bachelor and I remember I don't remember whose season it was maybe it was like Katie season or something like at the end of the show where the thing pops up and it's like if you know anyone

yeah sent me a screenshot and was like I'm doing this and I was like yeah whatever you're

not no you're not yeah you're not yeah and it was I mean that's a little late in the casting process. I don't think people realize that.

And then I had a guy friend submit me also and he told me after the fact, but around the time that it was like September or something,
