I am, Mr. Shooter, I have to tell you, I've been fighting a little bit of a cold, so pardon my voice, not to use. But I guess you get the the sexy soulful sound of misty today oh you sound lovely misty and congratulations wow it's been a week since your book has been out and it is a

massive hit thank you it's a massive hit i knew it would be okay i knew going into. I knew the Nauties would turn up. I knew that I had built up a bigger following friends on Substack. I knew I was going to be okay. And they don't give you a book deal if it's not going to be okay. And so I knew I was going to be okay. And then the tell was just before the book came out, I signed a three book deal. They wouldn't have given me that, had my numbers not being solid. Like, not amazing, but so they just don't do that. They don't give you deals because they like you. They give you deals because you sell books. So I knew it's going to be okay. What I wasn't prepared for, Mr. on Monday at the book party last week, I wasn't prepared for how successful this book was going to be.

And it exploded. On the Tuesday morning, I woke up and I saw the numbers.

And to think of all the millions and millions of books that are on sale on Amazon in America, around the world,

us in the top hundred. Of all the books that were on sale in America, I was in the top 100.

I'm not there anymore.

That's fine.

That's perfectly normal.

It's like if you put an album out or a movie out, the first week you do well and then you drop off, hopefully not by too much.

And so, no, it is absolutely thrilling.

I'm pinching myself and kids like me didn't grow up to be authors. This is something

that's so new and so delicious and thank you again. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Okay,

What time is it, my friends? It is a tea time. This story is so shady at the top of the show.

And I could go either way on this. So Serena Williams botched a Megan Markle friendship gift. So Megan has been sending out her as ever chocolate. She's going to keep going with this. Part of me admires the fact that she will not give up on this. I know to some people that sounds a little bit delusional, but let's remember, I used to be quite close with Bethany Frankel. Before the skinny girl Margarita, Bethany put out 10 different products. Cookies and this and none of them worked. Remember when she sent us cookies at OK magazine? They were unedible. They were just so awful.

We spat them out. And I thought, you know, this is not going to work. Bethany proved us wrong. She kept going. So I do have some respect here. Megan keeps going. Well, she sent them to her influences, to her friends. And you do this because you want them to post videos. You want them to say how delicious. Serena Williams made a video where she opened up the cookies.

They were falling out of the box.

Then Serena announced, I don't like chocolate.

And then she posted the video.
