I love murder.

We have a long list of things that just will not save your marriage.

Threesomes, for example, just never seem to fix marriages, at least the vast majority of them, and at least not in the

cases we cover.

Yeah, in addition to that, having children or more children will not fix your marriage either.

Generally, no.

One somewhat obvious item on that list is murder.

Murdering together does not tend to make marriages better or last longer. However, the couple of the center of today's story

seemed to be putting this to the test.

73-year-old Alan Morgan and his wife of 40 years, Margaret, have been accused of arranging the horrifying

murder of Carol Morgan, Alan's previous wife all the way back in 1981. So let's take this little Delorian for a ride and rewind and go back to the

beginning. Alan Morgan married Carol in 1977. It wasn't long however

before the marriage started to go south.

According to the prosecution, sometime around 1979 or 1980,

Alan began having a quote,

passionate but forbidden an adulturous love affair with a woman named Margaret Spooner.

According to Alan, he would deliver groceries from his and Carol store to Margaret's home that she

shared with her husband. Conveniently he would make the

deliveries well her husband was at work and delivered a whole lot more than
