Hi there. Welcome to the Rota Wire Fantasy Baseball podcast. Today is Saturday, September 2nd. I'm here with my buddy Drew Silva. We're going to be talking about September call-ups. It's a little different than in the past. We're going to have to get used to it. No more of these 40-man rosters that you're going to see, but there are some intriguing names,

both prospects and real-life players that have been called up.

But before we get into that, we'll talk about some headlines.

And Drew, I think we have to start with something that's pretty scary.

Yeah, I've been making a sick start for the Rangers after being acquired from the Mets and had pitched

really well up until the point where he left, struck out seven, allowed just one

hit in six innings, 88 pitches when he departed with that forearm tightness.

He really downplayed it after the start.

This is kind of a common thing.

I'm concerned, but from what he said, like, you know,

he got into the sixth inning.

His location was starting to be off.

He felt like he was at his limit.

He felt like in the rest of his arm was fine. He just had a little bit of fatigue and

soreness in the lower part of his arm. Didn't want to like, you know, he said if it was, you know,

if it was going to become a forearm strain, he'd have to miss the rest of the years. So he stopped it.

It's just one of those situations.

We don't really know exactly what he's dealing with right now.

He thinks that he's going to be able to make his next start.

It wouldn't be surprising if he at least gets a little bit of extra rest.

The Rangers can do that even though they're in a very tight race.
