And today we're going to be discussing our book of the book club book for September, which was When the Moon Hatched by Sarah A. Parker.

And before we get into that, we're going to announce our October book club book, which is

Hidden Pictures by Jason. Isn't it by Jason? Something? I have no idea. Hidden Pictures.

Um, author TBD. Hold on. We're very prepared today. Yeah, we are. Hidden Pictures. I think it is a Jason. Jason recgulac. Reculac. I've heard some good things.

Some spooky things. Have you guys like flipped through that book at all? No, I'm too scared.

I didn't Target once and it was pretty eerie. I flipped through it once in Target too and I was like,

let's do it. Yeah, it's going to be a spooky read. Do you think in the audiobook, they describe each photo? I don't. Didn't Mercedes say something about this in our interview with her? She said something about or maybe she didn't. I just know she said, like, you really want to physically read it because of the photos. Yeah. I think she did say that. And there's, I bet there's like a way that they discred for it. I don't know. I would assume.

I don't know. Yeah. I mean, it wouldn't. I mean, I'm sure it does, but it wouldn't surprise me if they

didn't because I feel like it would take away from the reading experience. Yeah.

You know? It's about a boy who draws and his drawings are terrifying.

Oh my gosh. I'm nervous about it. I'm a little nervous. There is an audio there is an audiobook for it.

There is. Okay. I'm interested how that would work with it.

But anyways, let's get started into when the moon hatched.

This is really interesting because we've never done it like this before, where we genuinely don't know each other's reviews about it.

We have kept our mouth shut about anything pretty much having to do with it.

So I'm very curious to know what you guys' reviews are going to be.

Why do I feel sweaty not knowing what you guys read with it?

I don't know.

I feel nervous that like either I rated it like low or I rated it like high. And you guys are like, that fuck sucks. I was like, ah! Yeah. Or like, that book was so good. And I'm like, oh. You know, I don't know. I have like mixed emotions. Same. Who's going first?
