Good morning, everyone, the simple handicap for Thursday, September 9th.

Thank you for making me a part of your morning.

And I'm happy to say for the first time, I've got both the date and the day correct to start the 2021 season.

The last two days mixed up either one.

It was rusty. This is the first week. We're easing

into it, but it is what it is, and we're going to move forward. Thankfully, we're done with the

wait for the NFL season to finally kick off, as tonight we have the Dallas Cowboys on the road

at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Point spread yesterday was Buccaneers minus 8.

Today we are seeing the first nine and a half on the board at Bad Online minus 105.

Bookmaker, Pinnacle, Circa, all holding steady at 8.

But for those of you in the regulated states in the U.S.

Draft Kings Fandul, both showing eight and a half an indication of where this number

ultimately might go a little bit later today as we work through the afternoon. The total

did come down from 52 to 51 and a half at Pinnacle. Same thing happened at Bed Online.

Circa still holding steady at 52, but when you see Chris and Pinnacle move on a total,

tends to mean the other places are going to be watching that too. We know 51's a bit of sort of a stopping point for a lot of

these totals, so I don't think we're going to see a significant move unless we get some

surprise injury or inactive news later today, but that game pretty well set in place for later

tonight.

The one injury to note, Chris Godwin on Tuesday, went through practice with a surprise,

quad injury, had him as a DNP yesterday, full participant.

So he is going to be back on the field.
