I don't know what you should do, Mike.

0:02.6

I think I'd rather take a bullet in the head.

0:04.4

I'd rather stick needles in my eyes.

0:05.9

I don't know what to say.

0:07.4

Felger and Mass.

The Beyond Dumb 2 to 6 show, right? Jackpot! 985, the Sports Hub. Mas, any, again, 24 hours later? Any follow-up thoughts to this? Yeah, I'll tell you where I've ultimately ended up on this thing, where I have landed, okay?

0:19.8

And this is the best way I can sum it up, and then we'll get to some of the commentary about the whole thing, which has sent me through the roof. But the Red Sox are idiots. Stupid. Just downright, stupid. And Brian Cashman and the Yankees are weasels. And I'll explain both as we go. but the and cashman to me has built a case here over the years of being kind of

0:41.2

weasily.

0:42.2

And to me, this was, you know, another example of that when it could have been handled

0:47.7

in a totally different way and he chose a certain path.

0:50.4

He and the Yankees chose a certain path, which Dumbrovsky spoke of when he said they leaked it to the Times. I think that that is absolutely what happened. You heard even Rob Manfred, the commissioner, say at one point, you know, I've never been a general manager, Manfred said, but my understanding is that in the past, executives handle this among themselves. One calls the other. End of story. They get it done.

1:11.9

And to me, that was a shot at Cashman and the Yankees, as if to say, you guys made this

1:16.4

public, so here we are. So, ultimately the thing is one big ball of suck. Okay? And the Red Sox,

1:23.9

I can't emphasize this point enough. The Red Sox is stupid. And to me, John Farrell is in the middle of this. This is as much a Farrell story as it is a cheating story, because whether he did or did not know, he looks like a clown. Either way, he looks like a climb. Well, if he did know, he let it happen and he never should have let it happen, because, again, you know what the rules are.

1:45.0

And he said after the game, or before the game yesterday, you know, I know what the rule is it's in the hands of Major League Baseball. If you know what the rule is, then you allowed your players and your team to break it. So it brings into the question the whole idea of, you know, does he really have command of the whole thing? Then secondly is, if they were doing, and he didn't know, how did it happen without him knowing it? Does he have a real understanding? He has his finger on his pulse in the clubhouse. Either way, I think Farrell looks bad. Yeah, I think the latter, too, to me, is the worst look, because Dustin Bedroy is involved, right? And can't we all agree that there's some kind of discourse between those two?

2:18.2

Even going back to the Orioles thing, that's not me, it's them playing with the dugout.

2:35.3

So if he didn't know, if John Farrell didn't know, and Padraer was part of this, dumb ploy, and that's the bigger takeaway, too, Mass. It's a dumb ploy by dumb people. Oh, stupid. But if Padraea was part of this, and Farrell didn't know, well, doesn't that also show you that Padroia really doesn't trust the manager?

2:35.3

So, like, hey, we need to win any you that Padroia really doesn't trust the manager?

2:48.7

So, like, hey, we need to win any way possible because we know dummies not going to help us here. So, yeah, I'll get in on this little sign-stealing thing because I don't really trust him. Sure. You know, in the last two weeks, you've had Farrell to go out to make a pitching change that by rule he was not allowed to make.

2:51.7

And after the game, he said, well, I know the rule, but he still screwed it up.

2:51.7

And now he's telling us again, I know the rule, but he still screwed it up.

3:05.7

And now he's telling us again, I know the rule, but they still screwed it up. So, you know, anyone who, it doesn't, there's no reason to stand here now and say you have any level of faith in John Farrell. How could you? He looks like a clown. to me it's as much a feral stories as it is anything else.
