I'm happy it's turning into fall.

I know. I'm so ready.

It's started to slightly cool off I guess but not nearly cool enough but we'll get there soon.

Now that David's not here today we can truly celebrate. I know. Exactly. The only summer lover on the

podcast is gone. So we have to we have to celebrate the coming of fall while he's

not here to rain on our parade.

Well, in the meantime, while we wait for fall, what is your first story?

Comola Harris and the Democratic National Committee are investing nearly $25 million to support down-ballot Democratic candidates,

a significant increase from previous election cycles. The funding will be allocated to

House and Senate campaigns, state legislative races, and gubernatorial and attorney general candidates.

This early investment reflects a strong fundraising period and the importance of these races in the upcoming election. The move aims to strengthen campaign efforts and improve Democratic chances in critical states which could also benefit Harris's presidential bid.

So Democrats have a lot of money now, more money I think that they know what to do with, and they are putting it to good use.

Yeah, and it's a far cry from the Trump camp who is a money black hole for the Republican Party.
