The Simple Handicap for Wednesday, September 29th.

Thank you for making me a part of your morning,

24 hours away from NFL week number four,

kicking off with the Jags on the road at Cincinnati.

And before we get into the market rundown for today,

just want to say thank you. A big thank you to everybody Just want to say, thank you.

A big thank you to everybody listening to the show and making this month of September

by far and away the most downloaded month of the show in its 3.1 year history.

Season 4 just got underway this year. But when I started,

I was getting about 50 to 75 downloads a morning. And the logic that I had to keep this show going

and do it every day was that if 50 or 75 people showed up in my backyard and gave me eight minutes

of their time in the morning to listen to what I had to say, that would be pretty significant.

And over time, 50 to 75 became 250 to 300 and then it became 700 to 1, and then 2,000 and now we're approaching nearly

4,000 downloads a morning and so for me to be able to speak to as many of you as now are listening

to the show is very very special and to see this month come together and some of the numbers

that have come from it is really, really fantastic.

It makes me pretty proud that everybody's able to listen to something that they find valuable.

And for me to be able to give you just a little bit of value in your day and make it that

much better is phenomenal.
