It's Friday, September 27th. I'm your host, Ryan Williams. In Florida, a woman contacted

the Lee County Sheriff's Office to report that her elderly father killed her mother.

Over in Denver, Colorado, a fight broke out at a home on Sunday over a bottle of hot sauce that

ended up leaving one man dead.

This past week, a Texas man was taken into custody for murder after a tipster came forward and told law enforcement he admitted to the murder of a missing man.

And in Michigan, a man is charged with the murder of a 13-year-old girl, he's accused of impregnating.

All of this coming at you right now, here, on Sword and scale daily. This past Sunday afternoon, deputies with the Lee County Sheriff's Office in Florida

responded to a home on Kaiden Lane and North Fort Myers for a report of death.

According to the reporting party, a woman stated that her elderly father called

her and admitted to killing her mother, his wife. Her father also allegedly said that he planned on taking his own life.

When deputies arrived at the scene, they saw someone trying to open the garage door from the outside. That individual would identify themselves as a neighbor who

was contacted by family members of the homeowner to perform a welfare check. Deputies ended up working

with the neighbor to get the garage door open and as soon as it was, they encountered 80 year old Richard Sharf, sitting in his SUV that was running.

Exhaust filled the air and Richard, well, he was safely removed from the vehicle and placed into custody

When deputies entered the home they found the body of a woman lying on the bed in the main bedroom

The woman was unresponsive and pronounced dead at around 2 PM. On a desk

near the bed, deputies found what appeared to be an apology note attached to a will. Richard was later interviewed by investigators to try and

figure out what happened at his home on that Sunday morning. After being read his

Miranda rights, Richard allegedly stated that as he and his wife were driving home from church, he quote,

came to terms with the fact that he was going to end his wife's pain and suffering.

Richard told investigators that his wife's Alzheimer's was getting worse and she was dealing with terrible jaw pain.
