And I'm Jake Sherman. Mike Flynn was spotted having dinner at Char Bar, the kosher restaurant and Foggy Bottom, asked about his mood. Flynn replied, quote, my mood is good, very good.

Meanwhile, in Puerto Rico, there are growing concerns that Washington is treating the hurricane-battered

island like an afterthought.

The island has been completely destroyed by storms.

Politico's Jacqueline Clemas was in San Juan to see the latest.

President Trump tweeted about Puerto Rico last night, writing that the island was already

suffering from broken infrastructure and massive debt.

He also wrote that much of the island was

destroyed and that it owed Wall Street and banks, which sadly must be dealt with. Down in Alabama,

Steve Bannon was unleashed. Alex Eisenzat was in fair hope for us and is reporting that Banna gave

a thundering 20-minute speech that was part a rally for Roy Moore, but also a declaration of war on the Republican Party hierarchy.

He called out Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, Ward Baker, Carl Rove, and Stephen

Law by name in the speech.

Bannon did not take on President Trump.

He said, we did not come here to defy Donald Trump.

We came here to praise and honor him.

Trump's takeaway on

Alabama hasn't been a good one. He's got an attorney general he doesn't like very much in Jeff

Sessions, and his candidate, Luther Strange, could lose this primary. Sung Min Kim, Jen Habercorn,

and Burgess Everett are reporting that Senate Republicans are already looking for their next chance

to repeal Obamacare. The trio reports there's nothing to suggest a repeal effort will get any easier in the coming
