It was an unbelievable journey, an unbelievable ride.

as individuals but us as a collective group in the team and they've done it past years before us

and they will continue to do it past years after us and I just want to be a part of that.

Kyrie Irving wasn't going to mention LeBron by name, wasn't going to take any direct shots at LeBron individually, but in his comments made it clear how he feels about the situation. In other words, the first part of the comment is, I wasn't going to come here to do that. That's not what I'm going to do or I'm ever going to do. But it's nice to be in a place where people put the focus on individuals as well as the team.

And I'm looking forward to being a part of that.

I mean, the way I took the whole thing was him saying, look, it's all about LeBron there. The whole thing's LeBron. LeBron, LeBron, LeBron, I get tired of it. I get tired of it. That was it. I was out. And especially when, see to me, like, if LeBron were signed for six years, I could look at Irving and say, oh, stupid, stupid.

This guy's the best in the league.

You say, that's it. I'm done. I don't know what this guy's going to do. He's going to leave me in the lurch, and that's it. So you know what? I'm out. I'm done. I'm done with it all. Golden States loaded anyway. I'd rather go somewhere and start a new thing.

So that makes sense that he would feel that way.
