| 0:00.0 | Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, Bo Hess, Bo Hess, and now the end is near. |
| 0:08.2 | Bo. |
| 0:08.7 | Belgar and Mass, 985, the Sports Hub. |
| 0:11.7 | I think they were more invested, emotional, engaged on all sides of the ball. |
| 0:17.2 | I thought that field goal at the end of the second quarter was a good indication of just how dialed in they were. Be able to get on the field like that in that amount of time, just great coaching and cohesion and all of that. Great sign, dialed in football team. But just really the emotional response. Tom Brady walks the walk, talks the talk, he calls out the team Thursday night after the loss, then shows up and has the best first quarter of his career yesterday in New Orleans. He was five for five on his first five third down attempts with two touchdowns. Again, best first quarter of his career, and so I thought that was, that's the best sign. You know, we're not dealing with the team that is fractured or finding its way. I think, you know, they're all invested in good sign. And the second thing to me was just the young guys I saw in defense. Huge, huge factor, because I think it's a problem on the team in the short term and a real big picture, a real problem in the big picture, and that is young talent on defense. They've lost draft picks over the years. They've had trades and Chandler Jones and Jamie Collins. There's been a little bit of a drain there, talent drain, and between Deflakeate and some of the picks they've traded away, they haven't made picks up high at the draft, so I'm concerned about the young talent on the defense. Well, in this game, Diedrich Wise really flashed up front. Jonathan Jones flashed a corner. Adam Butler, this rookie free agent, got a lot of work on defense, on the defensive line. Even Alandon Roberts was a factor in this game somewhat. And so I sort of look at that, and I go, well, if Diedrich Wise is really going to be a factor this year, then that changes the outlook to me. Because I think they're short of horses up front. But if D. R. Wise can play, then maybe they're not as short as I thought. |
| 1:47.9 | And so that's something to really keep an eye on. And in conjunction with that, Jonathan Jones going up at corner and Malcolm Butler going down at corner. And it's just, and Alan Branch. And so it's just one of these things where Belichick's just sort of making these decisions as he goes here. Who's with me? Who's not? |
| 1:58.8 | Who's with the program and who's not? |
| 2:00.9 | Alan Branch, six snaps. |
| 2:03.0 | Adam Butler played a ton. I don't even remember what it as he goes here. Who's with me? Who's not? Who's with the program and who's not? |
| 2:02.2 | Alan Branch, six snaps. |
| 2:04.2 | Adam Butler played a ton. |
| 2:14.7 | I don't even remember what his snap count was. I'll get it. It's huge. So maybe Bill's just saying right now, I'm not going to go with Branch just because he's been here before. I'm going to go with the kid. He's more invested. getting more out of them. |
| 2:15.6 | Branch is out of shape. |
| 2:18.7 | Adam Butler played 69% of the snaps. |
| 2:53.2 | 69% and Branch played six snaps total. So I think maybe you're seeing a little transition here on this defense where there are some young guys who maybe will be able to play. Hard to tell. It's a pretty bad opponent. But those are my takeaways. I think it's all good. I think they were good defensively. I think they were great offensively, great bounce back, and I saw some kids play defense that I wasn't expecting much from. So I think it's all, it's a really good day, I thought. Well, and as long as they played like they played, and I'm talking about the young guys, there's no impetus to put the other ones back in, right? I mean, this is one of those. If they keep going, Belichick rides it. Okay, that, Red Sox, fight if you want to weigh in on that. Rusty in Vermont. |
| 3:08.5 | Go ahead, Rusty on the Red Sox. Hey, guys, love you and H on a daily basis, but you've got a great show. Thanks. Hey, here's the best case scenario on price for the Red Sox and the fans. He has a decent playoff out of the pen. Next year, he pitches good. |
| 3:11.8 | The little coward then opts out of his contract. |
| 3:13.7 | We're done with them. |
| 3:17.4 | We save $120 million, but you can be sure of one thing. |
| 3:23.6 | It's all about the money with price, and he'll opt out if he thinks he can go get a decent contract somewhere else. Rusty, tie ball game, game one of the ALDS. He comes out to start the seventh inning. Are you, is that a good thing or a bad thing? I'm pukin. I'm pukin. What are you doing, Hook? Well, I think it's better than some other schmo coming out, some one of those middle of the pack, relievers you'd rather about that you'd rather |
| 3:40.8 | see david price and brand new workman uh i think that there if any if there's any place that |
| 3:46.9 | david price is going to be good in the postseason it's going to be in a very short burst out |
