Of course, one of the main bad guys in the Sopranos as well.

And I remember his death in the Sopranos, the way he was killed off, was kind of cheap. Like, it's almost like it was rushed. He was such an amazing character on that show, and he was the ultimate foil to Tony Soprano. And then remember just the end of it? Like, I think it was like the final episode, just a, like, he got shot in like a car, like, backed up over his head by accident. Do you remember that? Like that's it.

I was like,

whoa.

I just kind of came out of nowhere for like such a major character. It seemed like they kind of phoned in the ending. Gotta get it all in. Sopranos was weird, man. There was times where that show like touched the sun. It was like, you know, there were seasons that were just absolutely brilliant. like the first three seasons of the Pranenna were amazing.

And then remember there was an entire season where they just chased a gay guy around.

They tried to find the one.

And they ruined it because Meadow's boyfriend was like the one person that everyone could relate to.

And then when he saw the little fat guy engaging in homosexual acts, and then the guy was kind of threatening, you thought this would go somewhere, and they kind of just let that storyline go.

No, it was a whole season where that guy who was running for everyone knew he was gay, so he like went to it, New Hampshire, I think, and ended up falling in love with a fireman, and the whole season was essentially them trying to find him.

What a waste.

And Sopranos really set the bar in storylines that just didn't have to be there and ended up going nowhere. There were a ton in that show. So for a show that started off so brilliantly, it seemed like the end was kind of just thrown together, including the death of one of the great all-time bad guys and one of the great all-time character actors. That scene in Goodfellas, you know, Fred and I, I think, agree. Goodfellas is the best movie ever made. And that might be the best series of events in the entire movie. I mean, the whole shine box to the point where he comes back in with the pencil and just stabs him in the neck.

And then when they go to-

Spoiler alert. Well, they go to go bury him. And then one of the greatest scenes of all time when they're sitting there in Scorsese's mother's house and they're looking at the picture. You know, one guy's looking that way, the other one, and what do you want for me? Like the whole entire series that involved Frank Vincent was probably the best part of Goodfellows.

And now he's dead and you'll never see him again. And you'll never see him. And it's funny because I'm looking at his IMDB thing and it's just you want to talk about a man who was just stereotyped. Like he wasn't going to be playing any kind of Shakespeare in the park. No, he was like Italian guy number one.
