All eyes turned to Houston last night as the top 10 Democratic presidential candidates faced off for the first time all on one stage. A few thoughts. Health care once again dominated the evening with Joe Biden, Elizabeth Warren, and Bernie Sanders duking it out over the first 30 minutes of the debate.

Biden was on the defensive pretty much all night, with nearly every other candidate taking swipes at him.

Julian Castro landed in the most aggressive verbal punch, calling out the former VP's age, asking if Biden was, quote, forgetting

what you said two minutes ago.

Awkward line of the night, Biden talking about kids needing to listen to a record player while

discussing desegregation.

Biden and his team were forced to clean up on another issue, his comments about how nobody

should be in jail for a nonviolent crime.

After the debate, he told reporters he was talking about nonviolent drug offenses.

He did not say that.

Not uttered last night, impeach.

And someone smarter than us has to explain the coalition on Capitol Hill that would vote for a law to take away AR-15s and give people a thousand dollars a month.
